Any chance Jamaica will lift the Covid test requirement for vaccinated U.S. guests?
We have 9 family members scheduled to travel from Rochester New York to Negril on July 8th, but we have been unable to schedule a rapid test to meet the 3 day advance deadline. A PCR test promises results in 3 to 5 days, so may not meet the requirement. Called VisitJamaica, but no help or level of concern there. Should we cancel our trip?
Re: Any chance Jamaica will lift the Covid test requirement for vaccinated U.S. guest
Any CVS or Walgreens near by offers the testing and there is more information about testing sites in and near Rochester here:

No need to cancel, the antigen tests take 15 minutes or less.... the airport or airline may also be offering the service before your flight.
See you all soon.

Thank you. CVS and Walgreens do not offer the rapid test in our area but I will keep checking around. Good tip to check with the airlines. An Urgent Care in Rochester offers them for $ 60 each. For the 9 of us travelling that will add $ 540 to our cost (but worth it!) New York State says they offer free rapid tests but not sure what will be available by July 5th. NY is closing testing sites due to low demand but that is good news! Many New Yorkers are now vaccinated. Thanks again Rob.

Current Jamaica entry requirements end on June 30th. Check this website on July 1st to check for new protocols: https://www.visitjamaica.com/travelauthorization/
