Picking up bully beef and hunkering down!

The bands of rains of TS Grace have been happening since about 10am this morning in Negril. There will be five minutes of strong winds and rain, then a complete break for maybe ten minutes. Then the next band of rains and winds come through!

Our tradition of stocking up on bully beef and hot sauce for these storms commenced this morning after hitting the ATM up at Boardwalk Shopping Village. If JPS (electic company) is correct, we will be without power sooner or later and canned beef and hot sauce along with a hot Guiness hits the spot!

Otherwise this is cool day in Negril, which is a nice break from the hot hot hot days of July!

It is nearing 6:30pm and the winds are really starting to pick up.... not heavy rains but they are coming!

We have just had about 20 minutes of calm, but the next band of wind and rain is coming....

Glad you guys made it through unscathed. I hate to say it, but you were on your own with that canned meat. I think I'd go with PB&J while without power during a storm. After the storm it's BBQ time until power is restored. Unfortunately Long Island has frequent power outages as well.
