Jamaican Citizenship and Travel Category

There is some gross misinformation going around and I won’t mention the source. But it should be clarified in case people have questions. Whether or not you are Jamaican citizen does not dictate which travel category you are assigned. It is your residency status that does. My husband is a Jamaican citizen but he lives in the US therefore he is qualified as a category two traveler. This is coming from visit Jamaica. I am baffled that people do not understand this concept.

Lisa was also correct that he could be a category 4.
