Limes were hard to find in March and April as well. I would ask the people selling fruit on the beach for limes and they would have them for me the next day. I never looked for simple syrup so I can't help with that.
I was shopping yesterday but didn't look for limes, I will check today.
Simple syrup and can be found simply everywhere!
No fresh lime easily available at the moment...
I was "told" limes are delivered on Monday and sell out fast.... stay tuned!
I just spoke to a fruit vendor who had limes. He said that they are very hard to get at the moment but are available. And he said even he doesn't haggle on the price he has to pay...
