Club MoBay on Standby?

Anyone have any luck with Club MoBay on Arrivals when you are on standby with them?

I have been on standby several times and no luck. I book Club Mobay asap as soon as flight is locked in. They seem to be booked 2 or 3 months or more out during busy season.

Last February 5 out of 6 of us were accepted for arrival and one was on standby for over 3 months. She never was approved but once she made it through immigration and customs we were able to buy her admittance to the arrival lounge to wait for the last 3 of us to arrive.
FYI, our arrival flight # and time changed to a time that was shown as sold out but they accepted the change and our escort was waiting for us.
