Any one have any intel?
I understand a cold front just passed through and that the beach is a mess and has more seaweed/sargassum then it has had in a very long time, I mean a lot. Is anyone there now that can confirm or even share pictures?

SF,
Several Negril Facebook pages have videos of the current beach conditions.
Lots of seaweed, but it is being cleaned up.

It's amazing how fast the beach comes back into shape. Probably by the weekend you will never even know it happened.
It's not unusual to see these storms come through once in awhile. The below pics are from a storm that lasted 24 hours a few years back (2020).
Everyone works hard to clean it up & it's generally cleaned up within a day or two.

That 2020 storm was wild. On days like these, if you are on the beach it is time to explore the West End!
Example of how things can change:
Waves and water covering near the Corner Bar on the 18th:

No wave action on the 20th by the Corner Bar, the road is dry:

I live on the beach in Negril - today the beach was clean - people were in the sea.
