generally this is the range for these items in US dollars;
Case of redstripe = $25-$30 with deposit
roadside 1/4 chicken = $5
lobster dinner = $20-$30
lobster fresh from fishermen = $8-$12 each

Seems like you have replaced Smith as resident board specialist ..cool ..
Any idea what the high test rum is going for per bottle ? overproof mi means ..
mi don't think so......Masta Smith is our guru on here for living on 20 dollars or less a day......
and mi haven't been able to do dat....and not sure if mi ever could...
since I can drink 20 dollars of Red Stripes in one day.......lol
wondering if Masta Smith is going to be in Jamaica for his Bert-day this January?
other Boardies will chime in with prices........Sweetness would be a good one since she is still there
Cool Runnings, Marko
you can bring the lobsters from a fisherman, and someone will be willing to cook it for you for a nominal fee ....
Last time we were there, the cheapest case of Redstripe was from the Chinyman store which is right next to the orange man's truck near the bank. I can't recall the exact price since mi husband is the beer drinker...buying off the truck is also cheaper than in the stores.
I was just checking out Seastar's updated menu online and they are charging $22.00 for a lobster dinner. You may find it cheaper elsewhere - but for a hotel I think that's a pretty reasonable price .

JB Overproof is $800 at the Chiny store Yetta mentions, a bit more at other Chiny stores, and the sky is wide open at other establishments, lol. Wray & Nephew OP costs more; seems like the locals prefer JB
Lobster at ericas cafe was under 20 last time I was there last year
