Easiest spot to get. Sim card
Durn it ! After probably about 15 years of my same number and being sure to add minutes thru out the year . I forgot for most of the year so have. Feeling I lost the number . I?ll know I guess for sure when we arrive in Negril. Where would be a good spot on the way from Mo Bay airport to get a new one.
Thanks
Re: Easiest spot to get. Sim card
There should be both Flow and Digicel at the airport.
You will need to present a valid passport and complete a registration form to obtain a SIM card.
Re: Easiest spot to get. Sim card
I just purchased an eSim online from Digicel. You need to create an account and provide ID via your driver's license, passport or national ID but once I got my information entered it was a pretty simple process. 30 day vacation plan (they have 7 days, then 30........go figure) for $50 US. 25GB of data and 180 minutes of local calls. No option to do it online with Flow but I did get an eSim with them last trip. Again, it was a 30 day plan as they only had 7 days as well and I was there for 2 weeks. Can't remember the price.
Re: Easiest spot to get. Sim card
I waited until I got to Negril and went to digicel at roundabout, cost me about $30 for a monthly plan+ SIM card ( $10 )I was only there for 2 weeks so $15 a week) I got 50GB data, 1000 local minutes & 100 international minutes.
Re: Easiest spot to get. Sim card
We also got the 30 day plan from Digital at the roundabout. More than enough for our 3 week stay
