Country Country and Negril Treehouse
After the trip to HiLo we stopped at Country Country to see if they were open. Not yet they replied. They were waiting for continual water (she said it had been sporadic) and of course electric. I believe they do have a generator but didn't want to rely on just that. They were hoping for a soon opening, but check before you show up. I had never been there before and was impressed the way things were laid out. We then walked up to Treehouse and went to reception and was greeted with "Robert". As I looked up it was Petrona from the old Blue Cave Castle days. She is doing well. Treehouse is up and running and had quite a number of guests. I was told they have a Belizian electric crew working on the lines in the area. So, Treehouse is another option for those who want to come now. Both places looked in very good condition

We love Country Country and are supposed to go back starting Nov 30th. They posted a video yesterday saying they are hoping to re-open Wednesday. We are currently in a holding patter waiting to see. Great little resort.

I knew you were going there so made an effort to check it out for you. My feeling is that they will open as soon as power is restored. Negril is still waiting!!!
