SHort check in with some photos.
Arrived Saturday afternoon at Home Sweet Home. FIrst night dinner at Pablo's, oxtail and June Plum drink. Not much of sunset on the west end. Sunday morning we watched church online then headed to the cliffs for swimming and reading until very heavy rains not only forced us to our porch, but into the room with the high winds. Nice sunset last night, This morning we route taxied out to Jus Natural for a great breakfast and then down to Barney's Hummingbird Garden. Stayed nearly 1.5 hours, but the birds were not that active. We we got back we went down to the water but that was short-lived because heavy rains and winds forced us in again today. There has been all sorts of activity at Blue Cave Castle. Things may be changing there soon. If you are in the area, the gates are open and visitors are welcome to come in and browse around.
Regards,
Bob

Thanks for the pictures. A couple of years ago, my daughter and I stopped by Barney's Hummingbird Garden one morning. The man who opened the gate told us that he could take our money but suggested coming back in the afternoon when the birds were more active. We appreciated his candidness and honesty.

Nice pics. You got the doctor bird. In all our trips and different times of the year I've only seen the doctor bird once. And even then I heard it humming before I finally spotted it flitting around. Then it was on its way.

A few years ago we went ot Strawberry Hill in the Blue mountains in Irish Town above Kingston. I was so excited because we saw several Dr Birds on that trip! I had never seen one even though I have a tattoo of one on my back.
