Trip Report - Negril on my birthday!!!
Hi there,
Well I arrived with my husband late on Friday evening, our friend Patrick came to pick us up from Mo Bay and we were glad to see his smiling face. We had quite the flight to Montego Bay. A 37 year old man sitting in the seat in front of my husband went unconcious and started turning blue on the plane, fortunately their was a doctor and a registered nurse on the flight, they were able to stablize the fellow but he has his wife and 4 children on the flight and it was something like a scene from a movie when it's about to crash. So ,so, so glad he made it!!! Anyways.............. we were wisked away and off to Negril.
Friday night was pretty much a right off, arrived to Seastar Inn at around 8:30pm, Rachelle brought us up to our room and we unpacked and ordered a bite to eat.
Saturday morning was MY BIRTHDAY and what a beautiful morning and day it was. The sun was shining and the people were smiling!:D
We decided to stay close to home and enjoy some much needed sunshine, poolside. We wondered down to Wiess' and picked up a few goodie.
Seastar for dinner tonight, simply can't resist the scrumpdillyicious buffet the is offered. The music was bang on, quite a variety of musicians were playing (over & above the usual suspects).
Sadly I could put on my dancing shoes as I twisted my knee at the airport the night before heading to Negril so I'm babying it for the next few days. Next Saturday Night with any luck I'll make up for missing out on my birthday at Seastar!!
Today we went a wondering a wee bit, my hubby has been catching up on his sleep and has been wanting to stay pretty chill, but I was able to get him to take me to LTU for lunch, he had the jerk chicken sandwich and I had the snapper sandwich, really tasty!! We will be back for sure.
Tonight we are heading to Eddie's De Bar for dinner.
I'll write more soon.
Peace,
