Many thanks!!
I just want to thank all of you who are posting your trip reports and pictures!! We aren't able to get to Negril this year, but will be celebrating our daughter's wedding in Negril next March. Your reports transport me "home" and help me fend off the sadness of not being there this year! Keep them coming!!

that will be an amazing thing to look forward to. Where will the wedding be? My son and his girlfriend talked a lot about having their wedding at Rockhouse, but we will see what they pick when the time comes.

They haven't decided for sure, but are thinking of Grand Pineapple. Most everyone will be newbies (except for hubby, me, and our daughter) and so that I don't have to play super tour guide the whole time, an AI would be better. Selfish of me, huh? She would love the cliffs, but her fiancee has a nephew who will be 2 and the beach just seems safer for the baby. Our trip last year was our first non AI, and I would prefer that...but frankly, as long as I am in Negril...it's all good. :)

couldn't agree with you more, we will be there in 2 weeks for a short trip but it's a trip. Yes the cliffs can be dangerous with little ones we took our family last Feb. including our new grandson he was 9 months at the time and most of the places on the cliffs will not even rent you space if you have children. We did split our trip and stayed at CCLP and then Villas Sur Mer up on the cliffs, that is a beautiful place, tunnel under the road and great snorkeling.

Good luck with the wedding plans and enjoy your trip! Short is better than not at all...
