I'm here!

and kind of demented from 2 hours sleep last night and RUM! And can I just say that going into Megamart on zero sleep and a little bit of a wine hangover is completely overwhelming--it about killed me and fried my little brain cells even more than insomnia! TOO big and I had this insanely long grocery list that no way could I find everything even though sweet Alfred was helping. So I guess I had to learn the hard way, I am not a mega mart fan. But it was reasonable, I got a ton of food and staples for 70 bucks including beer. They has an ok (I think) exchange rate of 84 J to the dollar--I hadn't gone to the cambio yet so that worked for me.

Stopped at Biggas for conch soup and jerk chicken--need I say more? And hit half moon beach ( which I fell in love with!) for the bathroom and a supplemental rum punch. Phtoos soon come! Mosquito eating me right now so gotta go grab some bug spray.

So excited to hear more!! Will be leaving in 3 days and I am totally ready. I know the feeling of no sleep, a drink or two, then hitting that wondrous Jamaican air!! Excited yet totally wiped physically....but it's a good feeling anyway.

Anxious to be back again and be at total peace with myself. I have no laptop, but will be thinking of all of you. Can't wait to hear more Irieworld! Hopefully, see you at Seastar next Saturday...or maybe before...come on up to the cliffs and chill for a while. Nothing any better, trust mi mon!! LOL

Sounds like we tread the same path when first landing into MBJ....Megamart, biggas and sometime Half moon....Excellent way to start your stay!!!
