Any room at the Castle is a good room! The tower rooms don't have A/C but they do have a constant breeze so it's probably not an issue. Our favorites are #10 in the guest house and #8 in the Castle. The penthouse is awesome but there are a lot of steps to get there.

Yes Petrona is still the manager of the Blue Cave Castle. Just one of the many reasons it is such a special place to stay!
Jar, #8 is at the back of the Castle with its own stairs. It has a small balcony with sliding glass doors. Not the best view, overlooking the pavilion, but it is a big room with a nice big bathroom and shower. We love it because it's quiet.
We stayed in #8~very spacious & airy. Highly recommend. But I do agree that any room @ BCC is a good room!
Is there a bar on site?
Not a bar per se but Chef Teddy is an excellent mixologist and there are always plenty of Red Stripes. There are several great bars within a 5 minute walk, Pee Wee's and No Limit.
L&M grocery store is right across the street too. They have a good selection of liquor and RS if you want to mix your own back at the hotel.
