Randi,
Not sure the exact time, but the Band starts at 7:30pm and the show will be over right around midnight. So he would have to be performing somewhere in between those times... (grin)
A must see webcast. Luciano does a great show, including support from Mikey General. My favorite webcast was the first one, when they did the older set they used to do with Dean Fraser and the Firehouse Crew. Simply outstanding.
I love Luciano - have seen him many times in various venues, with and without his band. Hope all who watch enjoy the show.
Love Luciano! I have seen him many times in many venues in Jamaica and even once in the US. My favorite has to be when he played at MXIII for the Bob Marley Birthday Bash - a ROCKIN' two hour set with his band, then afterwards we were backstage and he sang me happy birthday and gave me a bracelet off his wrist. The guy is true gold. I'm looking forward to crossing paths with him again.
top act. walks the talk.

the show was over the top good, really! I had just gotten home (to NBCC) from getting soaked in a downpour on a scooter trip to half moon beach was intending to call it a night and pack my stuff for my flight this morning, when I saw him walking to a silver SUV in the lot of NBCC. I did a huge double take, but I knew it was him, he has that regal bearing and sweet face. My heart kinda started beating fast. I had a bad cough/flu and hadn't yet packed but I ran to see if I could eek out a drop of my dead battery on the laptop to see whagwan and if the man was playing that night at Seastar. What to do, he was! I called Seastar with the last of the credits on my JA phone and went for it, how could I not. I rode up with a couple of tourists who had never been to a seastar show and it was such fun sitting with them and see her (and him) blown away by whole production. The guy got pulled up by one of the drummer dancer girls and actually kind of held his own--while she was in tears laughing at the moves the girl was putting on him. Their joy was infectious and the Luciano healed my heart an made me forget how crappy I felt. Plus I got a huge hug and jah bless from him at the end of the show which was priceless. I will post some photos soon.
Luciano was quite impressive the previous appearance at Seastar, and that one I was there and I really enjoyed it. The harmonies between the two singers is a step above the typical reggae band that plays at Ricks or RIU or something, you could really tell the difference in professionalism with Luciano.
Is there a chance he is playing again the last week of June????
Irieworld!!! Hi, so nice to meet you there and yes, yes, yes was it the best!!! Over the top entertainment for sure. What was majorly cool for us, we awoke and walked out on our veranda. Someone right across says Good Morning....OMG, it was the Messenger himself. He hung at at SS for much of the early day and it was so awesome. Such a nice, nice person with such a kind heart. It was the highlight of this entire trip.
Will give some info later of the trip but way too tired now...our flight was cancelled upon return out of Charlotte Wed. night. That was a first for us. They did put us up and pay for breakfast, but it proved for a long, long day and night. Waiting hours to get our luggage before we could leave for the hotel. Oh well, at least it was there, and we were safe. Turned out just a likkle bump in da road. :) Home now with tons of work waiting patiently.
So lata....
