Living Social Cancellation of Seasplash Vouchers

I just received this email from Living Social regarding ALL Seasplash vouchers.

Dear LivingSocial member,

We want to thank you for purchasing the LivingSocial deal for the Sea Splash Resort. Unfortunately, we just learned that the Sea Splash Resort is no longer able to honor vouchers, and we'll have to cancel this deal. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but want to assure you that your purchase will be fully refunded.

Please note: it may take up to five to seven business days for the transaction to appear on your credit/debit card statement.

Since I don't yet have any planned dates yet (the voucher was to be good until sometime next April), I'm just going to let them process the refund, even though treehouse has offered to honor them. I've never stayed at treehouse, but understand it's nice! I just feel like it's not quite the same deal as was originally offered, so when I decide when I'm going I'll look to see what is available for me at that time!

It's too bad this has happened, but in the end, I hope everything will work out for all concerned!!

No it's not quite the same deal because we are offering in addition to hotel stay,airport transfers, buffet breakfast with omelette and waffles and fresh fruits and oatmeal and grits..:)

I too have a Living Social! Received a refund,and then the GM at Sea Splash let me know they would still honor my Living Social reservation. I would say call them asap,and see what they can do for you.
