I booked Miss Normas Guesthouse for a week this month. Has anyone stayed there before? It's on the main road right across from Alfreds. If anyone can give me feedback I will really appreciate it.

While I haven't stayed there, I have seen the room, and it is clean and basic, and the yard is a nice shady area, and you will love Norma and her family. Say hi to her and to Barbara and Thunder as well when you get there! Also, Miss Sonia's is right nearby, and she is a great cook too. :)
Thank you for the information........just wanted to let you know that Miss Sonia closed down. I was there beginning of April and she was not there. Someone told me that she retired and I will really miss her food.
Oh okay, I saw her last November and hadn't heard about this, thanks. That's okay, from what I heard Norma herself is a pretty good cook too. When you see them, tell them Amy said hi! :)
I sure will!!!
I stayed there last April and had a great time....Google reviews and you will find mine. The rooms are basic budget rooms in an excellent location in a safe family yawd. If you want home cooked meals give Norma a little notice and she will cook up a storm! Not sure if she cooks meat/fish since see does the veggie thingy like me but no worries the food is excellent.
Lia, Barbara is stateside for a little bit but Thunder might be around if you want to see coffee roasted or his cool vibes.
I saw Miss Sonia at the beginning of June running her restaurant as usual. Once again she had to change her location though... still very close to the previous one
Oh that's awesome, I will be sure and stop by there when in Negril next month. Lovely lady, really down to earth. :)
Thank you....I did read the reviews that is why I booked with her. I am looking forward to her cooking many meals for me. I really wanted to stay in a home setting this time. I am a workaholic and I really need to get away. I am really glad to hear Miss Sonia is still around. I will definitely pay her a couple of visits while there. Only 3 more sleeps and I am off.
Just came back from Negril and staying with Miss Norma. Loved it there!!! Very nice place to stay for people on the budget. Felt safe at all times and I got a chance to see how Jamaican families live. Really hope some of you will book there. I am planning to return in December with my daughters and book both rooms.
