The Palms anybody been ?

Pros cons anything Thanks:confused:

rooms are kinda small.......food a likkle expensive........
but great location on da beach......sure someone that has stayed there recently will chime in.....

Stayed last Jan, Bank had management running property. My room was old style which is fine with me. Appeared clean hot water and pressure was Ja style ( have it 1min but gone the next min). Food was great but $$$ coffe was $3 . Staff and security was good. Beach was A chair and half wide. I call it north part of beach near big AI's . Walk to Sea Wind for coffe in the A.M. Pool was in need of repairs . There was work being done in other rooms, So may be better. IMO owners seen it needed lots $$$ for repairs and gave it up to the bank. 60-80 A night is what I would pay.

We stayed there 3 years ago before they had problems with the bank so I don't know what it's like now. The room we had was very plain but nice and very clean, the beach was great back then. When we walked down there this past February there was hardly any beach.

If you are on a budget White Sands is a great option otherwise Coco LaPalm.

We are booked for one night before heading home in January, but because of some horror stories as of late I have been considering cancelling and booking an Extra night at Seastar! I know that will be GREAT!!!
