first time

Im headed to Negril Fri for the first time. Traveling solo and staying for 7 seven days. Im pumped and have fun traveling alone but have never been to Jamaica. Will there be much going on this time of year for a single male 32 looking for fun or is it mostly couples..

any suggestions on places to go...

Welcome tigersfan. Always lots to do round Negril. The beach area has lots of bars to hang at and there is local music several nights a week. The Jungle is a dance club that many go to - party starts late. Up past downtown is West End and there are lots of cool places to hang out also. Since you are new you might try some of the webcasts put on by RealNegril.com as its a cool place to meet people and have fun - on Sat night they have a live show at Seastar on Westend with live bands, etc. It is not high season but there is always fun to had. Be safe but enjoy your trip. We are alwasy happy to help so feel free to ask anything.

I have never found a moment or a day in Negril or the surrounding country side that if I sat down for long enough some sort of fun did not saunter my way.

But, smile, I think your question of fun might involve is there an active singles social life this time of year. I travel with my partner in crime Coleen so I speak not from experience, but my observation has always been in 40 trips at all times of the year I have never seen a single guy moping around for lack of companionship. Something in the air on that Island, a little bit of alcohol, a lot of sun, darn few clothes sure makes for a passionate vibe.

Enjoy yourself brother, listen for the beat of the bass in the sound system, look for a fire on the beach, ask around love is in the air.

Do the One Love Bus crawl on Wednesday you will meet new people and get to see a lot of places. It is lots of fun.

the place really rocks usually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturday nights.....
the Jungle is the place to be Thursday night which is your last night.......
your first night hit Alfreds........then maybe Rooftop......and then Scrub A Dub........
