~~Sweetness Trip Report - Camera Jacked Up DOH

As we all know Jamaica is the "roll wit the flow" capital of the world (lol).

So this trip has had many opportunities to roll with the flow.

First - Something is wrong with my new camera. It was working fine in Florida and I put it in my carry on with my laptop while traveling and it will not take photos correctly. I am goin crazy - as you know I LOVEto take pictures. It will not auto focus (its charged and if I take it off AF by the switch it will take very close up or very far away and thats it). Its a Canon EOS T3. Beautiful gardens here at Catcha Gardens but can't take any photos. OY If anyone has ideas please message me.

It has been raining all day HARD and its cool and relaxing. In Austin we dream of rain so its a blessing and a joy. Rollin with the flow.

Big fun last night Sea Star. got to hug Rob's neck. Delicious buffet as always. Amazing new singer Sonya that was so cool (kinda reminded me of Queen Ifrika), and of course the Drummers/dancers which stir my soul and bring me to my feet every time. Best blessing was two sets by the talented Robin Banks!!!! Blues Ooman! She rocked the house. Got to also run into Deb from Moonlight, Jackie from Jackie's on the Reef, Jackie from Catcha, and of course Chris. Big fun.

Not much else goin on. Called AT&T and had my phone unlocked so I can just get a sim card. but it nah work either......Gonna take it to the store and see if they can help. I have the code but no phone yet. rollin with the flow mon.

Unpacked and kitchen organized so good to go. Comfy and chilled out. I will ck in when I can. I have wifi so that is working perfectly. Much love boardie fam!

nice! I want to hear all about Catcha gardens-- it is in my budget and looks nice. Do you have sea access nearby? You mentioned a kitchen, do they have the fuul oven stove refrigerator deal? I like to cook in JA. Enjoy to the max and good luck with the visa activities in Kingston.

Thanks Irie - I will do a real report on CFSG when I get my camera going. No sea access but nice pool with lots of lounging areas. For sea access though its possible to swim and have drinks/lunch at lots of cliffs places so no worries. The June Apt here has everything. Most of the fan only units though do not have kitchenettes. I am going to borrow a cooktop (elec) and wash dishes in the bathroom sink so its not for everyone. Small fridge so I have to shop every couple days. I brought my rice cooker so I will be fine but its takes lots of "roll with the flow" (lol) The photos on their website will show you more too. And negrilonestop has what I think are the best photos for properties.....Bless

sweetness, try taking the lens off and then putting it back on, sometimes that will work. i'm assuming that you have the 18-55mm Zoom lens. i don't know if there is a manual/auto switch on it, but if there is put it on manual. i believe there are 2 knurled rings on the lens - one is for zoom (i believe the larger one), and the slim one at the front of the lens is the one to focus with. hope it works out. otherwise, enjoy paradise.

lenny I will try those tings and see if I can get it working. makin me crazy...its a fairly easy camera so not much it could be. bless

I saw the new singer on the webcast for a few minutes - she's gorgeous! Glad you are enjoying yourself and I hope that the camera gets fixed up soon!

Lenny you are a ROCK STAR.....mi no Knowa about the small zoom adjuster out by the end - only the big one. OY.....feel silly but at least it is working......ok now must play around a bit. rain stop and amazing sunset came.

Dang! I can't believe I missed last nights web cast! It sounds like it was a good one.
