It's not just the bar......... It's the characters who make the bar
The company you keep can make or break a bar, regardless of how great of a bar it might be. I'll never forget a trip Pooper and I took last year and on our last night we decided to just finish it up at Ivan's and call it a night. Around 9PM a lit Brit shows up with his lady and joins in on the ruckus. We start doing shots and next thing you know he stands up at his bar stool, whips out his junk, and starts swinging it around. Pooper looked at me and started gagging, and the whole bar was like "WTF MAN". Soon enough Mr I'm Proud of Myself sits down and starts cracking up and the whole bar stood still for what seemed like an eternity. I myself was dying inside and all I could do is laugh my arse off along with him.
Inappropriate? Oh yeah, however the vibe that night was a little uptight and Mr I'm Proud of Myself took it upon himself to change up the vibe. So with that said...........

No, this is not Mr I'm Proud of Myself. This is Karl Rickett's and his landscapes are pretty solid. If you do not see a piece that you like you can commission him to do whatever you want. Great guy

I look forward to my next reach where I will run into some of the usual faces as well as some new ones. I'm just hoping that I don't run into Mr I'm Proud of Myself again.:p

Swim up bars are in as well. Seastar is a great place to spend a day whether you are staying there or not. Nice pool, great food, and solid drink and vibe.
