Humming Bird feeder

I was thinking about taking a Hummingbird feeder to place somewhere near our deck during our next reach.
Has anyone done that? Did it attract any birds?

I have a Finch sock feeder I just hang on the tree,they love it.Easy to pack,but can you transport seeds?

all you need is the empty mini bottles (plane size) of vodka (they have a red lid)....some lightweight wire to make a loop and slide the little bottle in....if the lid is not red then paint it with nail polish (red).....poke a hole with a nail in the top....fill with sugar water and there you go......they work great at Tensing Pen.

I will look into both suggestions. The mini bottles would be pretty easy to transport.
