Ricks webcam??
Rick's webcam has been running good today. In the last 15 minutes it has been on and off. Not sure it too many people watching or if the power and internet conection may be flickering on and off.
In the last 30 minutes the wind had picked up but the sea was not too bad. Hopefully it will be back up soon.
Still praying for our friends in Jamaica

Re: Ricks webcam??
Living,
I remember back in 2007 during Hurricane Dean, we could remotely move the Coco La Palm web cam. There was a struggle via the internet to control the direction of the camera, some wanted the water, some the beach and some the pool!!! Finally the system was overloaded, power went out or someone flipped the switch and all went dark. There was some very good video before we lost the picture!!

Re: Ricks webcam??
I have tried several times, seems to still be down. I emailed them but no response so maybe they have no internet there and that is the problem.

Re: Ricks webcam??

Re: Ricks webcam??
The internet is working fine in Negril... both Lime and Digicel have been working without any interruption... But I would think it is rather low on the priority list... especially since the waves whacked it last week...
