Sea Star Inn or Catcha Gardens?
Need a little help...
Wife and I are planning a return trip for next year. 7 days on the beach and 3 days on the cliffs. Looking for something clean, cheap and within walking distance to many local restaurants and bars. Don't care if I'm staying right on the cliffs or not, as long as there is someplace close by that we can access the cliffs and water if we like.
I've kinda narrowed my search to these two places for our stay on the Westend, but am open to other suggestions as well. It looks like the cheap rooms at Catcha all have the 2 double beds...can these be pushed together? Or do they offer any rooms with king or queen size beds?

Sent you a PM...Good luck and blessings sent!
Re: Sea Star Inn or Catcha Gardens?
The cheap rooms at Catcha can be pushed together. Picses offers up a Queen as does Little Capricorn. If it was me I would pick Seastar for the simple fact that they have the restaurant and bar onsite. The Gardens are kick a$$ as well and have LTU across the street. Either pick will be a good one.
Re: Sea Star Inn or Catcha Gardens?
Have never stayed at Catcha but have stayed more than once at Seastar Inn! Chris & Francine and their people will make sure your stay at Seastar will be a good one for sure! Great food, drinks and a peaceful environment. This place is good for the soul!
Peace

Re: Sea Star Inn or Catcha Gardens?
Seastar Inn has AC, and Catcha Gardens does not.
Re: Sea Star Inn or Catcha Gardens?
Some of the rooms at Catcha Gardens have a/c, just not all of them
Both places are great in my opinion, you can't make a bad choice here!
Re: Sea Star Inn or Catcha Gardens?
I have stayed at Seastar and love it. Great bar, great kitchen, excellent pool, excellent staff, near perfect management - Chris and Francine are exceptional. We'll be staying at Catcha Gardens this Holiday season for 10 nights. It comes highly recommended from a number of friends but I'll be happy to give you my personal review when we get back. Don't think you can go wrong with either but I think an easy comparison would be Seastar - more hoppin', Catcha Gardens - more laid back.

Thanks for the info booger!
Have you ever stayed in the Pisces cottage? If so, what did you think? I've seen some photos and it looks like a pretty good deal for the $$. Is it as private as it looks in the photos?

Oh wait a minute.....I didn't realize you were including the cliffside Catcha Falling Star in your choices
If that is the case, yes.....pick that one. ANY room at Catcha is a good place to be!
I love the Gardens and Seastar Inn both but Catcha takes the cake in all categories, just my opinion of course :)

Although Catcha Falling Star looks really tempting, I think we'll be hitting either Gardens or SSI. I was just curious about the Pisces Cottage. Looks like a really good deal, and possibly a great 3rd option if we decide we have to be "on" the cliffs.
