Upscale beachfront lodging with cook service
Back from our third stay at Nirvana. We stay in the owner's villa and it's tough to beat the location and great property. The only thing I'd like different is having some one to cook meals for us. While they do offer cook service for one meal a day, I get the feeling they don't really like to do it and that we're bothering them asking for it. After a few days, I was able to get them on track to cook us breakfast every day at a reasonable hour. You have to get your own groceries and they aren't very helpful with ingredient lists.
In past stays at Issa Villa and Moondance, they were much more accommodating. They would either go with us to the store (Issa Villa) or provide the food (Moondance). They were willing to cook 3 meals a day if we wanted.
After Superclubs started booking Issa Villa, the price went way up and I don't care for the location, too isolated. I love Moondance, but it's about twice as expensive or more than Nirvana.
Is there anything in between?
Crystal Waters fits the bill, but there's only one beachfront unit and there's no trees on the beach, just Palapas for shade. It's also too close to Margaritaville for my tastes.
Our kids loved our trip to Negril and are already asking about going back. They're 18 and 22.

We are going with our three kids in March, 16,20 and 24 to Sea Sand Ecovillas right on the beach next to Seasplash. Comes with a cook, who will shop for you if you provide list and cash, 3 meals a day and housekeeps!!!!! Am looking very forward to this trip :) Have done it all from AI to cottages in the cliffs, but never with the kids so this will be a great time I am sure. We were actually married on the beach at the TWater in 87, and am truly sad it is no longer. Lots of great memories.

I think that Tree House has a 2 bedroom beach front villa. Charela has a family suite, don't know much about it though. White Sands has a villa as well. Moongate villa behind Tony's is cute and immaculate, I toured it last year. Nothing fancy but the bedrooms were cute.

Rondel Village has 1 / 2 and 3 bedroom villas and will also arrange for 1 meal a day cooked in your kitchen.
There is a nice video to watch on their website.

Thinkking about moon dance cliffs. How does cool service work there?

From their web site, it looks like they don't cook in the villas. There are 3 restaurants or you can pay for all-inclusive. There is something about "full butler service" available in the villas. Sounds much different than Moondance Villas, which has no on-site bar or restaurant.

The chefs at beach house are pretty talented. Both Mark(mourning chef) and Everest(afternoon chef) have cooked special orders for me over the years. In October they cooked up my freshly speared lion fish and it was delicious. I have brought back fish, lobster and freshwater shrimp from the river and they always fix something amazing.
