Planning on Negril Escape for Christmas 2013. I know we wanted the beach, but this seems like a good compromise.
Sooooooo.....
We are booking an ocean view apartment. Anyone who has stayed at Escape.....Suggestions about which unit to reserve?
And, any good or bad comments about Negril Escape would be appreciated BEFORE we put down our deposit!!!

back to africa building has kitchens and a great ocean view - i have stayed there many times and always enjoy myself.. it isnt the fanciest but good breakfast, good staff, good location..
i'm staying in negril escape for the 3rd time in a row in february. i like it because (1) they have a pool, which is nice; (2) they have a decent bar; (3) they breakfast in the morning is included and good; (4) they have a relationship with the jungle nightclub so they will take you there/back in a courtesy bus; and (5) the staff is friendly.
it's a pretty chill place.

Its been a while but stayed there several times, aways good, and they just refinished the pool!
Passage to India had a great view. Stayed there two years ago and liked the place. It is pretty basic, but was very comfortable and pleasant. Had some water pressure issues but the quickly got it flowing well enough to shower. Free breakfasts were great and the staff very friendly. And it is Jamaican owned and operated, which I like to support.
