Kuyaba
I have six couples staying at Kuyaba starting the 23rd of February for a week for our upcoming wedding. I am finding out from research and traveler reviews that the music gets unbearably loud, to the point the windows vibrate. Other then that it is supposed to be a great little resort. However, if it were me staying there I would not be happy to be kept awake all night on my vacation on multiple nights. Not only that it is their first visit to Negril.
I have made an attempt to check other resorts and most things seem to be booked. Does anyone know of a nice, clean, resort on the beach that may have some availibility? Most of the well known places are booked solid.
I am in a panic!

Re: Kuyaba
Don't panic Kuyaba is a beautiful place with a really great bar & excellent restaurant. Yes bourbon beach is 100 yards away, & i would bet most of your guests would venture over to check it out. Yes it does get loud 3 nights a week. I have stayed at kuyaba many times and had no problems sleeping, just get some foam ear plugs & give them to your guests.. its really not that bad.. i promise you will really enjoy your stay there.. i will be there this saturday for 12 days... DON'T PANIC,,,,,have a blessed wedding, no worries mon..

Re: Kuyaba
I am staying there in a couple weeks and will make sure to pack the ear plugs. I like to hit the beach early, and will need a little sleep the night before.

the noise is less noticeable on the ground floor.

Re: Kuyaba
We stayed there for a week several years ago and I don't remember being kept awake by the loud music nearby. We were more annoyed by the constant squawking of those darn parrots. Loved the honeymoon room but one large room no matter how nice does not a suite make.
