I was staying at Xtabi........Snorkeling in the early morning beneath 3 Dives,nice but "no fish"..Now I'm in the lounge chair and see the Ratsa man at 3 dives go to the cliffs and bait his hand line and throw it over....In 2 minutes he pulls up a small fish... He then "blesses the fish with the sign of the cross" and looks skyward.He then packs his gear and needs "no more" rewards... He was aware of his part in the cycle of life.

Fredstripe, it's moments like that that can answer the question "why to do keep going back".
Several times while staying at the Blue Cave Castle I have seen this daily ritual. This young man would come down the hill and out on to the rock point in the lot next to the Castle with his simple tackle of a line wrapped around a jar containing his hooks etc. He would stand there and wait till he saw his fish and cast out his line. Rarely did he need more than one cast to catch his fish. After landing his one fish he would wrap up his line a head back up the hill with his catch. Always made me smile.
