What's the best way to convert old photos to digital? I don't want to sit and scan each one. Is this something you can do at Walgreens photo shop? We never pull out old photos and look at them but we would watch a slide show of them. It would also allow me to post photos from the late 80's and the 90's. My first digital photos are from 2001.
I got my old slides converted at a local camera shop they did them for me or they would have rented me the scanner and I could have done it myself.
I would think they could do prints also. Tell them what size you want them so you do not have to resize them to post.
I was amazed at how easy it was to post a picture here. Had I known I would have posted long ago. I didn't resize anything but don't know if it is automatic or not. I guess I need to figure out what size to tell them.
a good size to shoot for would be 800x600 pixles with a file size 200-250 k should work ok.........
its lots work to scan and enter each photo, and adjust the quality and then name and save it...we have WAY
too many film photos to have it done......$$$$$
average price is like $50. for up to 250 photos with a DVD
so I do a few now and then
