It's like winning the lotto!

Over the last few weeks, I've been cleaning out my desk at work, getting rid of old luggage (the really heavy kind) from past trips, and just randomly purging the house of unwanted clutter.

So far, I have found close to $20,000J, and there are places where I imagine more is squirreled away. I have enough coins at I think it might cause either a.) the metal detector to go off were I to cart them back to the island or b.) cause me an over weight charge for my luggage in excess of their value.

Either way, I am calling this the I found $20,000 week (and leaving the j off).

At least I'll have some folding bills for the next trip, and the cambio won't have to happen on day one.

I found $3,000J in the pocket of a pair of shorts last time we left for JA. The bills had been nicely washed and folded and put away since our previous trip.
Was good for some nice cold Red Stripes and lunch on the way to Negril.

Don't ya just love when that happens???? I found some bills tucked away in one of my small purses. I had totally forgotten putting it there...imagine that! HA..HA...

At least it is great to have when you reach next visit. :)

We always keep some extra to avoid the cambio rush day 1, but it must be great to just find it unexpectedly :D

I always bring back Jamaican dollars to give to nieces & nephews,they think it's cool...

I gave some to one of my nephews and he said "I will keep this always and when you die it will be a memory of you".

Gee, am I the only person who goes home completely BROKE? :)
