Anyone coming to Negril soon, HELP!

"The church, Mary Gate of Heaven, is on the beach road (Norman manley Blvd) across from Coco La Palm. The best thing to do is call and we can make arrangements. The church number is 1-876-957-4900 and my cell is 1-876-881-1763. Thanks for thinking of us--better yet, thanks for thinking of the poor, especially the kids! --Fr. Jim"
Re: Anyone coming to Negril soon, HELP!
I will be in Negril arriving June 7th and leaving June 15th. I'm bringing an entire suitcase full of writing paper, composition notebooks, crayons, pencils & pens that I will drop off. I also work for Best Buy in Kansas City. If you could give me the SKU of the camera you want off Bestbuy.com I will get it. I'm staying at Banana's Garden if you know Nicole or Opal.

Re: Anyone coming to Negril soon, HELP!
Here is some more information about school visits and supplies from Father Jim of the St Anthony Soup Kitchen:
"Schools end here on July 5! I don't know much about summer school but I would not suggest donating things at that time. the great need is at the start of the school year in September. I don't know how much you have to donate but our Get Kids to School Program is sponsoring 36 children this year with the help of the local Rotary and the Franciscan Friars. I hope to get a larger grant for the next school year and pick up some additional children. Part of our program is to help the parents at the start of school with uniforms, shoes, backpacks and school supplies. It is quite an expense and we would welcome your support. If that idea is not what you are looking for I would suggest you contact the President of the local Rotary Club, Ken Cooney (ken.cooney@yahoo.com). he and the local Rotarians are very familiar with the local schools. --Fr. Jim"
