Newbie Disabled Honeymooners - Help Please!
Hey,
We're heading to the beautiful Negril for two weeks in April for our honeymoon, and we're already ridiculously excited. However we're both disabled and we're on a bit of a budget. We're staying at the RTP but we're keen to get off the resort and spend some time in Negril and maybe visit a few places. Wondering if anybody has any suggestions or ideas on drivers or where to go and what to see! We're already booked on the One Love Bus for April 14th, and have been thinking of YS Falls. maybe Pelican Bar, we're open to ideas!

Type and severity of the disability might be an issue and perhaps you could elaborate a little. For instance, the YS Falls tour requires jitney ride down to the water.
Know you will have a great time in Jamaica.
Peace and Guidance
Re: Newbie Disabled Honeymooners - Help Please!
The disability is due to a chronic illness, which means the severity of it can ebb and flow like the waves. The wheelchair is mainly used for pain control - can walk and transfer etc if needed, so the jitney ride down to the water at YS Falls would be no problem.
Re: Newbie Disabled Honeymooners - Help Please!
No worrries - there is a property in Negril specifically designed for your needs - I will have Penny from the Lighthouse Inn contact you - their entire property is wheelchair access and they have a van that has the wheelchair lift specifically designed for their guests.
