Signs, signs, everywhere signs.... Tribute to Jacko with Yellowman at Roots Bamboo

It is with a rather heavy heart I make this post, a great friend of mine, Jacko, passed on this past week. He went in his sleep on Tuesday night at his room at Roots - and he will be sorely missed. Most of you who have been to Negril anytime in the past 15 years have seen his signs advertising the shows at Roots Bamboo and other venues - he was the "sign man" in town!

This Wednesday there is a Tribute to Jacko at Roots Bamboo featuring King Yellowman and Terry Linen.

Jacko - we will miss you man!

I heard of the passing of an employee at Roots when I was there but didn't know if it was security or whom. So sorry you lost your friend Rob. He was very talented.

truely a sad day I remember Jacko he made my first sign back 93. last trip we bumped into Jacko chatted for a while about the early days...he will be missed !
