Air Jamaica out of Phila

I can hardly believe I"ll be on the AJ 6am flight our of Phila..leaving tomorrow!!This is my 4th attempt to get back to Jamaica, postponed 3 times! This time I"m going!! Anyway.. I'm trying to find out what time the AJ ticket counter opens. Instructions are to now check in 3 hours before departure but I have the feeling the ticket counter won't be open at 3 am. I tried getting the information from the airport but didn't have much luck with that. Anyone recently take AJ44? I"m a little nervous since I just booked my flight on July 1,which happened to be the same day they switched to the new Caribbean Air flight number BW44. Any first hand experience with this flight since they changed the time to 6am would be greatly appreciated.

I always take the 6am flight out of PHilly . I normally get there about 430a . The counter is always opens a that time. Security is where I have to wait , they open at 5a. Have a great time !

AJ 44 (now BW 44) has been my favorite flight for years - i always get there about 2-1/2 hours prior to *just* beat the crowd. Took the 6 AM flight a couple months ago and got there at 3:45 -- nobody in sight yet. No matter what the departure time is (it used to be 7-something for this flight), the crowds all come right at the 'two-hours-prior' mark; and the counter opened right around 4 AM .... so that extra 15 minutes makes a huge difference, you can beat the crowd and be first in line -

Thanks! Thats the info I was looking for. We have a 2 hour drive so if we leave by 1 we should be good. Off to finish packing!! I LOVE departure day!!

Was just on that flight a couple weeks ago.. Be there by 4 am your first in line.. Security opens up about 430 am then you breeze right through it.. Safe flight!! Will be back there in sept. It's a funny thing though when i was getting off in philly to come home the stewardess asked me if she would see me again in a couple weeks..I just laughed and said a couple months..

you are so lucky, we no longer can get Air J out of OHare, that early flight and afternoon departures were just great for so many years...........
funny thing was, most of the time that flight was always jammed packed full ????

I wish they were still flying out of OHare, it would make things so much easier!

I think soon, you will see Charters leaving from Rockford, Il.
they appear to be heading in that direction..........Free Parking, all walking distance..........
