Woot! We have arrived!

Let me start with saying, the sand gravity is strong this year. This trip is different, because it has taken me a bit longer to relax. I supose being the mother of the bride and all the newbies coming down have kept my home stress burning. I think I'm finally getting there. Just about everyone is here now, we have met with Patty for the rehearsal dinner planning, met and paid for the wedding, and found our way to many a bottle of Red Stripe.

Now, I think I can relax. The wedding is Monday, and I think we are good to go. I'll post pics when we get home, as I can't uplad from the camera. I will try to put up some as we go this week.

Travel was easy this time. Taxi was on time to take us to the airport. Plane left on time. Connected in Atlanta on time and arrived 25 minutes early!! We were through the airport in 15 minutes. Unheard of for us! Met our driver and stopped at Jerkies for some chicken and Red Stripe. Nothing tastes as good as the first bit of jerk chicken and a cold Stripe. Then we made our way to Negril. Made it to the hotel, checked in with a rum punch and an upgraded room. Yeah!! It was raining pretty hard most of the way and rained much of the night. I know they need the rain here, and it wasn't putting a damper on our trip at all! Besides, you don't need sunshine to have fun in Jamaica!

The weather has been a bit cloudy, but its a nice break from the hot sun. Plenty of beach time. Tonight we are taking everyone to Canoe for dinner! A huge big up to Patty for all her planning and help! I couldn't think of a better place to go. We can't wait for tonight!! If you're in town, stop in and say hi!

Thanks, guys. Yesterday was a gorgeous day. It didn't rain until the evening, and by then it was welcome for sure!! It was a hot one! Took everyone to Canoe for dinner and drinks and everyone absolutely loved it there. Patty and Kirby and the crew went above and beyond....they truly outdid themselves. It was perfect!!! A million thanks to the whole staff at Canoe!
