Hi all, arrived yesterday. First solo-budget trip, staying at Hidden Paradise. Miss staying right on the beach, haven't even walked across the road to see it yet!
Ok, so I've missed the beach vendors selling their goodies...is there somewhere I can go to purchase a fresh loaf of banana bread? Hopefully walking distance...Coco?

The Shamrock sells mini loaves of banana bread baked by John's wife. I believe her name is Indy and it's on the package. I think it's about 200J and it's delicious. If you don't see it ask John or David in the store. If you run into Ann-Deta who owns Caribbean Delight across from the Shamrock you could ask about her friend who bakes banana bread. I got a huge loaf in March for $1000 J. It was wonderful.

I did go ask at shamrock after asking around here. Unfortunately they were sold out. They don't have it everyday. So walked down the beach and was able to buy some at coco. A big loaf, but pricey at just over $1200. I'll have some for breakfast tomorrow.
1,200J's is steep.....there is vendor on the beach that sells the loafs too........him around everyday
he's not the cheapest either.......a lot of the other stores sell banana bread too.........

we just left Coco and miss that banana bread already, had it every am with coffee, its hard to beat it for fresh baked and so good but that does seem high for a loaf.
I'm thinking you could go to Coco and get a continental breakfast which would include the banana bread and it would probably be cheaper than $1200
Agree, we got cont each am but a side order was big enough and more than reasonable
$1200 sounds more like the price for a few pieces of "special" cake
Yeah, pricey but big. Wanted to have some to have on hand for breakfast at HP for when I don't feel like heading out. This will last a few days. By then maybe I'll have found a better deal...but moving to Coco Tues. so then it'll be taken of.
Time to shower & off to Canoe! :)
