What would you consider the most frequent vacation accommodation rental pattern ?
beginning of a month to the end of month [or multiple months],
middle of a month, to a middle of a month [or multiple months],
any time of a month.

You will find that people travel anytime of the month - it depends on their work/vacation schedules and of course the air fares!

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I'll chime in. For most of the folks that I know that frequent Negril...most start out with 7-10 days stay. Then, they fall so in love with JA, that they begin to extend their stay and find more economical ways to stay longer. My first stay was 7 days but with many years and budgeting...now up to 28 days.
The time of the month is usually decided on the cheapest airfares, work schedules, etc. When scheduling around a major holidays like Christmas..usually leave mid December so I can avoid the increase of fares closer to Christmas and also be able to stay after the New Years. Any other time of the year, the time of the month that I would leave would totally be based on airfare prices and things going on in my families lives. To me the biggest item that I look for is flexibility with the resort that I book. Such as...if something major should happen to my elderly father and I couldn't make it down....I generally ask if they could move my time. I don't ask for money back, etc...only the option that I could come on other dates. I always ask this when booking, since my father is 87 and anything could occur. Fortunately, I have never had to re-book but thankfully, there are some resorts that will adapt especially when they are familiar with you. I feel so very blessed to have this option.
