Best tasting drinking water in Caribbean award goes to NWC

A panel of water experts at the 22nd Annual Caribbean Water and Wastewater (CWWA) adjudged that the National Water Commission provided the Best Tasting Drinking Water in the Caribbean. The Conference and Exhibition held in Barbados saw the NWC receiving the award for the second year in a row beating out eight other water service providers from across the region.
Hooray Wata!!! I love it when people ask me if we ever get sick from drinking the water in Jamaica. I always tell them that its better than the water you get at home. (and I work at a water filtration plant)
I know, BIG SHINEY n MANGO, although I live in MN, my brother has a cabin in Wisconsin, and I always
say when Im at the cabin, " water is better tasteing in Jamaica than here, ( GO VIKES, OCT.26TH,LOL.)

I'm guessing the cabin is on a well and depending on how deep the water table is in the area the water is most likely very hard and sulphuric. Negrils wata is treated just right and has NO taste....just the way it should be. (good for mixers) :)Quote:
