I have a cousin who wants to stay at Grand Pineapple the first week in Dec. My husband and I are staying at CCLP. We would like to be close to visit with each other. It looks like about a half mile apart. Is that right?
Also I know that some times of the year if GP is slow they will move their guests to a Sandals property. Is this Sandals Negril? If yes how far is that from CCLP?
If it happens, the move is usually to Beaches Sandy Bay
The walk is not that long from the Grand Pineapple to Coco La Palm. We walked from GP to check out CCLP and vice versa. It took about 10 minutes by foot along the beach. GP is an AI so you need a wristband to enter the bar area but It will be easy for your friends to visit you at the CCLP bar/restaurant. There are also plenty of places to meet up inbetween the two hotels.
GP isn't guest friendly at all....don't even try.....you'll be meeting everywhere but GP....lolQuote:

Haha. I am familiar with the AI's. I realize we can't go to GP to visit. After 9 trips to CN we are doing non-AI at CCLP. Cousin is not ready to give up the AI.
I stayed at gp the last few visits and are staying there in a few months on my sandals points. I had a good friend staying at coco and we would have breakfast etc and hang out at coco.
She would come to the front office at gp to pick me up to go on excursions and it worked just fine..I do wish they would let friends hang out together at the beach though.
It is a wonderful walk to coco..just minutes...
Buy a day pass to GP. Last year was only $60 US and well worth it. You get to eat, drink, enjoy the grounds. Totally worth it.
