How does private drive thing work

Looking for help on explaining how the driver deal works. We are staying at Beaches and then moving to Coco for 4 days. Will need ride from Beaches to Coco and then from Coco to airport at end of stay. We are planning to go out to dinner on cliffs one or two nights and will probably want to go to grocery once and maybe a couple other misc. ride needs. We will have 11 people.

Do I reserve a driver and pay per trip? Do they have different size vehicles for when we need to transport all 11 vs. just a few of us? Are they truly available on demand?

If you go to the homepage of Negril.com you will find a tab called "transportation" click on that and it will show you a list of recommended, tried and trusted drivers that are all fully insured to carry passengers/tourists. They (I think) have either an email address on that link or in some cases a website. In my opinion, the best thing to do, get a couple of email addys from the transportation link and ping each one an email to see who can cater for your needs. The ones I have come across are very nice and helpful.

Realxeption, I 2nd what SazO said...check out Michaels On-Time Taxi in the transportation section...You can't go wrong with him, he will get you where you want to go "on time" :) nice guy too...

Ask about charges up front.
$60 for a couple Mo/bay-Negril is about right so judge from there.
You should get some kind of rate for a group.
