Well, it's -30C here (-22F). -40 with the windchill. I could use some of those Negril photos too!
I guess that is alwayse the bright side Melody. Its always colder in Canada!:-)
takinitslow - It's just going to get worse this week (I'm in the Minneapolis area)! This weather is crazy. 76 more days and I will be back!!
Minus freaking 22 here too and wind chill brings it to minus freaking 43. No mosquitoes today though!

When its that cold up north does everything shut down or is it just business as usual?
im retired,so when it gets that cold,yes,everthing is shut down as far as im concerened.if you have a job,then everthing is open as usual.

We are still building bridges in this temperature. You cannot touch the steel for too long though without sticking to it. Also, the work day begins 2 hours early for the guy who has to start up all the diesel equipment. Its also a pain when you drop a tool or bolt into 2 feet of snow. There is no sweat running into and stinging your eyes however on a day like today!
