Would love to be on this Roll Call, and if all goes according to plan we will be in Negril in December but it will be earlier in the month than you guys.
There is a group of us that want to do the Reggae Marathon again this year and of course I would love to be in Negril for our first anniversary on November 28th.
There, it's out in the universe ....... gotta make it happen now :)
I am planning for my mother and I to be in Negril early Dec. My 50th birthday present one year late. :p
Wisconsin Gal and Companion will be there 12/27 through 1/5 at Banana Shout.
Will be on the beach daily, and will be looking forward to the beach fireworks on 12/31! They are AWESOME!
All booked for Dec 3-Dec-13
We were there over the holidays last December but this year we are back to early December (our anniversary is Dec 6th).
We are booked for Dec 5 - 15th (5 days at Coco and 5 days at Catcha).
This year I am blessed and have a May trip booked as well.
Weathermon & Mi Lady will be there tentatively from December 21 through January 4. This will be our third holiday season in a row. Once you go, you know!

It's definitely not too early to start a December list!! LOL Room and tickets booked! Yeah....yeah...........Dec17-Jan11th.
BRING IT ON!
:) Well, it has taken years to get there!! Now, the years are creeping up quickly....as many boardies, no gifts for each other, eat at home, drink at home, watch movies ...yeah, you guessed it...at home!!! Had to knock out the short summer trip to Negril, then decided, since the flights were getting so high that might as well just stay longer in the winter. It is a long hard wait, but it is worth it in the big picture. Last year, the only time I ate out was in Negril. LOL THE ENTIRE YEAR!!! Good thing that I love to cook and being newly retired....finally have time. Gotta say though, I look sooo forward to December when I can let someone else do the cooking.
So far...

Rinakim & Lady Jane - I put you guys on the list so now you have to go!
Yetta:
Good for you! I love it when a person has their priorities on straight! As soon as Mi Lady can retire, we will be doing the same thing! Airfare is ridiculous, cutting out that expense for so many trips just makes sense. We went 4 times last year, 3 the year before. We are just going twice this year. But, that's the way it is now with Helen working. You gotta do what you gotta do.
Thanks Weathermon & Mi Lady!! It has been a long time coming....but change gonna come!! It all works out. Actually, this aging thing has been a big deciding factor. Life is so short yet somehow, we don't seem to realize it until we are coming to the latter end of the ride. I still have enough strength and gusto...to enjoy the ride. May as well enjoy it while I can. Jamaica has been such a calming yet exhilarating ride. It is truly, the best part of my year. I absolutely adore the people and the island...as well as the food and of course, the music. When there...I am totally absorbed with the culture. I don't want to miss a thing! So, when there...I am one with the land. Like it or not.....just gotta get out and feel the culture and the island! It is truly real! And, I love it!!! :)
Well said Yetta :)

We're now staying at Coco, we decided to make the switch when we were there last month. Anyone know what they do for Chirstmas and NY Eve at Coco? Anything special?
Hope to see some great deals for travel ...looking at Dec Or Jan ...need to get out of the cold ....
Dec.27- Jan.3 at Catcha FS
Will be there Dec. 16th, at Legends. I have been to Negril countless times since 1989, but this will be the first for my new family members. Three young adult step-children and their significant others. Proposed to my wife at Tensing Pen in Dec. 2010 (her 1st visit) Can't wait to get back!!
I will be there Dec. 21-Dec.30. First half at Catcha and second half at Charela Inn. This past December (2012) was my first visit to Negril. I was home a total of 5 days before I made this year's reservations! Yep, once you go you know. :)
Greetings! Well, I guess it's not too early to start a December roll call ! We will be there Dec. 2 - 13. At The Seastar Inn and Negril Tree House. It's a good time to be there for the Reggae marathon {as spectators for us!} Hey 2nutz4travel...Coco will be all lit up for Christmas. Very nice! We can't wait. This will be our 10th trip to PARADISE! Yes, truth in advertising....once you go then you know. Respect mon' "Rock'n'Roll Farmer" & Wifey
Bump
Ticker check :)
Tentative plan right now is to go from Nov 27 - Dec 8. Not sure how feasable this is going ot be with a possible relocation coming up and work schedule. But I want to be there for Thanksgiving and also run in the Reggae Marathon.
You guys can do it. You're young! See you there.
We'll be having our first full Jamaican vacation at couples 12/6 - 12/15 - we've been a few times on cruises, but it always seems to short a day. Looking forward to some great food and fun times
Not sure the dates but have to repeat the 10 km. at the Reggae Marathon, and beat that 55 minute time!
Thx 2nutz, not the swept away one the other one.
Over the years we've done lots of diving trips, but this will also be our first all inclusive as well - looking forward to some of the great reviewed spots everyone has posted - jerk chicken places, the YS falls (we went to the other one last time), the appleton estate tour etc. Wow, we're excited to get there already lol
You will love the beach at CN - it's amazing!! YS Falls is also incredible, combine it with a trip to the Pelican Bar if you can :)
December 7 - 14, just booked air. First time ever - twice in one year!
Dec 21 - Jan 4.....so far it's 19 of us! Waiting to book air but plan to do it this summer
