Day 5:
Today is Sunday, which is also Fathers' Day and my last full day. I plan to make the most of it.
I am up early again...no exercise for me today. According to my watch & phone app, I walked nearly 5 miles yesterday. I sit in bed, watching CNN for a few minutes, then get up to make phones call...one to Clives Transport and the other to my sister. I was so busy yesterday, I did not call Clives to let him know I had a new pick-up date. We chat on the phone for a few minutes and he says his driver will see me early tomorrow morning. :( I call my sister, ask how things are...the same...Be home soon, I tell her.
I call up some family and friends who reside out in Grange Hill, they are coming to Negril to spend the day at the beach! We make plans to meet up around 2pm. I'm not sure how many planned to come but it sounded like a lot. Major holidays are taken very seriously in Jamaica. I knew the beach would be busy.
Earlier in the week, I made plans to get my nails done by a lady who lives in a room at Barry's. Before doing so, we needed breakfast! As usual it was hard to find places open so early but we ( friend and I ) check a bar over across the street that has breakfast. The place has a bar, cook-shop, bathrooms, and a few other little shops to buy items. I never did find out the name of it.

At first, I thought it was just a deserted bar, but my friend says nothing is left out, everything gets locked up so no one will steal it.
Doesn't it look deserted??

We walk over to the cookshop, we decide on two meals to share...Callaloo with peppers and another meal consisting of boiled bananas, chicken and yam. We take our food and sit at the bar. It was delicious! After such a long night, the breakfast had me feeling energized! :)

After finishing up breakfast, a few more people come by and order breakfast. A group of guys set up a table and begin to play dominoes. I realize the place is pretty popular but hidden from view. We cross the street and go to Barry's to get my nails done. First, I must pose with the various murals that has been painted around Barrys. I must say The place has improved greatly since my last trip! He now has a washer & dryer, outdoor shower, more plants and course of the renovated bar.
