If we were to stay at Catcha again, it would have to be Coral. Sadly, we were spoiled for anything else. I couldn't walk by it every day and know I wasn't staying there :)
We're thinking of trying Xtabi - we've been there on bar crawls but that's it - any thoughts on which cottages are the best?
1 and 4 are the largest, with 2 bathrooms (outdoor shower) and kitchenettes. Both have a loft bedroom. #4 has stairs, #1 a ladder. I don't know if any of the other cottages have a fridge. I was going to stay in #4 last April but when I reduced my stay to 2 nights, they wouldn't let me have it. I think they offered #6 instead, but at the same cost, I didn't go for it and was disappointed with them. It didn't say on the website there was a minimum stay after April 15th - I had booked through Negrilonestop almost a year in advance and they were surprised too. Maybe they'd let you stay for 4 nights, but wise to check, and get it in writing if they ok it.Quote:

Now that I think about it, you may run into the same minimum stay issue at many hotels that time of year. Perhaps you'll get lucky and they'll have an opening for your dates between other reservations.
According to NegrilOneStop - "7 day minimum stay between Dec 24 and Jan 6" - since we'd be leaving on the 24th, we should be (hopefully) good. I've contacted them to see what's available, so we'll see. Coral is available at Catcha if all else fails :)
