Yesterday's flight was a Real Estate CEO and his wife from NY. Both were licensed pilots. If you loose cabin pressure you only have 3-5 minutes before you fall asleep. Not much time to realize you are not " just sleepy."
Thanks Lady Jane. Today was the first time the local newspaper mentioned Payne Stewart. 5 others also in that plane. Glad no other lives were lost. It sounds like recovering the plane might be next to impossible as it was reported that the ocean is 6,500 feet deep where the plane went down. Debris field already gone. So sorry for the family's loss. They sounded like great, civic minded people who have left a wonderful legacy back in Rochester, NY.
