Re: Too Hot To Handle
Most restaurants have mild options. Can't say enough good about Ciao Jamaica. Pick up and return free. One thing Jamaica doesn't get enough credit for is fried chicken. Try Jah Bs on the Beach road across from Rooms. Really inexpensive. Swordfish has mild offers and amazing Mac & cheese as does CW country bar.

Re: Too Hot To Handle
Marko, now I've never had the conch soup at Chicken Lavish, but I have had the curried conch meal, and that was delicious! I had a bowl of conch soup at Cosmos, and that my friend was out of this world! I practically was licking the bowl clean! I'm just sayin' Respect One Love

Re: Too Hot To Handle
I have a question. I had a chance to experience grilled conch in the Bahamas and I loved it! Anywhere in Negril I can find that??? Conch fritters I've realized.......not a fan of. I am getting there after lobster season so I'm trying to get my seafood fix:(

Re: Too Hot To Handle
Angelas at Bar-B-Barn has great pizza and pasta dishes. And Kenny's at Errols(Next to Travellers) for some killer Chinese.

Re: Too Hot To Handle
I will also vote for Keney's Chinese between Negril Beach Club & Travellers at Errols.. BIG plate of food - very reasonable and very good. Chicken Lavisjh is an Institution on West End road and the Fried and Sweet & Sour Chicken are outstanding . Also Sunset after Dark has the best burgers (1/4 lb or the 1 pound) and Patrick has a number of other chicken finger and Honey garlic Chicken options lighter fare !

Re: Too Hot To Handle
Another Chicken Lavish vote, their food, all of it is very good and he prices in J$$ and it is beyond reasonable. He raises his own chickens, so you know you are getting the good stuff. His conch soup will bring you back from the dead.
Sunset after Dark - Try the Red Stripe Fish and Chips. I've had fried fish all over the world and this was about the best I have ever had. Those burgers are so big they will scare you so I didn't try one. I've talked to couples who split one and they say it is hard to finish.

Re: Too Hot To Handle
We had the one pound burger at Sunset After Dark...it was soo good we went back on our last night. Great fish tacos also. Owner Patrick is a genuine nice guy. He even gave us his cell number and would deliver food if we wanted down to Seven Mile Beach resorts.
