Good idea! Listen to your doctor. He went to medical school, you didn't. :) March isn't that far off!

I am 50 years old and traveled from Washington, DC to Las Vegas for a meeting six days after my surgery. I was in pain, but walking around helped. I was definitely fine after one month. Just try to get an aisle seat so that you can stretch your leg a lot. It's a long flight. Good luck!!

That's what, a three hour flight? Slight difference here.

Smokehouse, Check with your health insurance about complications due to previous known conditions. If something comes up related to your surgery you may not be covered. Best of luck.
