Hey Seveen,
I was "stranded" here during one of those.
They closed the airport the day I was supposed to leave.
Hotel said "pay us when you come back".
Stayed 6 more days and had a GREEEEEAAAT TIME!!!

I like listening to a JA radio station for weather reports. Captain D posted a link to some good ones. The funny thing is, the reports are about a broad and general as anyone here could give. its always rain "in some parts of some parishes". This past week or so it seems that it has been raining somewhere at sometime every day.
u fretting over nuthin......
two things you do not pay attention to online about Negril is da weather forecast and the exchange rates...dem both way off
over the last two weeks wi have only had showers 3 days......and wi really needed da rain dat wi did get....
and if wi get a shower(s).......dem only last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour........then sun comes back out
exchange rate at the Cambios yesterday was $121.35 to $1US.....up 75 cents in a weeks time...
Cool Runnings, Marko
When my husband and I were in Negril in November, we were chilling on the side of the road at our good pal's Boston Jerk Chicken stand, when it just poured down. The rain maybe last 20 mins... it was a torrential down pour, however it was a blast..hanging out laughing.
Best rain fall ever ! Any other time, rain comes and goes.. no complaints ever.
