Steven was a good soul and someone who I always looked forward bumping into. My wife and I seemed to time his walk to Seastar, and she would sing with him walking down the road. He played with such enthusiasm, as if maybe it was his last show..... From time to time I'll throw on his CD and it always puts a smile on my face. RIP Steven

Thank you for the post. Somethings in life never make sense, but we have all been changed by meeting Steven....
One time a couple years ago, we stayed at Seastar {good time}, and it was so cool that Stephen & the band would rehearse during the day. Had a nice chat with him also. I have his cd too. He would also be on the beach roaming around singing and playing. He definitely "had the music in him". RIP Stephen West!
