Restaurants within "safe" walking distance from Home Sweet Home

Sips n Bites is a must for us for lunch. Mr. Brown makes great brown stew chicken and I highly recommend it. They do not serve alcohol and are closed on Saturday for religious observance. The number of cab drivers who stop in to pick up takeaway orders during lunch tells you all you need to know.

We love Chicken Lavish and we usually go across the road for a coffee and ice cream at Patsy's Coffeeshop (go through tothe back deck)

As Corey mentioned the onsite restaurant at HSH is up and running. Currently (when we were there last) being run by some wonderful folks. I believe they are doing an all you an eat buffett once a month.

Another vote for Pablos (best fried chicken and breakfasts) and Chicken Lavish, also Patsy's.
